Abstract :
A class of algorithms based on a space-domain integral-equation formulation is examined for the purpose of developing microwave imaging systems. Implications of the use of a complete inverse-scattering formulation are discussed, and the results of numerical simulations are used to evaluate the capabilities and limitations of the proposed approaches.
