  • Abstract
    Modal parameter of stayed-cable is an important basis for the structure health monitoring of stayed-cable bridge. In this paper, the vibration signal pre-processing and algorithm for modal parameter identification are studied. And then improved algorithms about vibration signals pre-processing and modal parameter identification are proposed considering the typical characteristic of the vibration signal of stayed-cable in this paper. At the same time the stayed-cable parameter identification system is developed by the GUI tools which are contained in Matlab and the system is used in the engineering measurement of a bridge in Ningbo. And the results indicate that the parameters of the stayed-cable can be speedily, accurately and reliability got by the system. Also the performance of the system has achieved the desired objectives.
