Abstract :
The safety of the critical infrastructures concerns the nation´s stability and economic security. With the development of technology, the interdependence of various infrastructures has increased, which also enhanced their vulnerabilities. As one of the critical infrastructures, Electric Power System is the preference of terrorism attack. This paper describes the attributes of terrorism first, and then quantitative risk analysis is adopted to evaluate the risk of terrorism attack. Through analysis, the vulnerability of this system is found out, which attributes to adopting countermeasures to reduce the vulnerability and relieve the risk of the system suffering from terrorism attack.
