Abstract
Comparing structure characteristics, industrial and elemental analysis between biomass and coal, it can be shown that biomass has less carbon and sulfur, more hydrogen and oxygen, small density. According to their respective ash, differences in combustion characteristics are analysed. After the distribution of amount concentration, density, size with their chemical components being analysed, it is concluded that the formation of dust is closely related to combustion condition with kinds of biomass and boilers.
