Abstract :
This paper reports preliminary pedagogical experiences regarding the deployment of advanced video educational platforms with a full synchronous and asynchronous videoconferencing tool developed. Reinforced by these new tools, active learning is promoted inside Computer Science studies and tutoring is being re-adapted to the new educational model of the European Higher Education Area in a blended learning environment. The "lecturer\´s virtual presentiality" achieved with the system impels the creation of an educational platform allowing to provide better educational services and to broadcast tutoring sessions to new geographical areas not cover before.
