Abstract
In this paper, we investigate a 2-way assignment routing method to minimize the entire system power consumption in multi-hop relaying networks. Using the presented routing calculation, an efficient feedback scheme is introduced and only the backward accumulated feedback metrics are required. Compared with the traditional centralized minimum power routing requiring the full channel information, the presented scheme achieves a significant feedback overhead reduction without any performance loss. Moreover, we also give a proof by mathematical induction for the optimality of the presented routing with new feedback scheme, from the perspective of system power consumption.
