Abstract :
The feeding way of sugarcane influenced the leaf-striping effect for the centrifugal type leaf -stripping machine. In this paper, two feeding ways, fed from root and top of sugarcane stalk, were analyzed by using the method of theoretical analysis and test. The influence of structure and morphology of sugarcane leaves, the motion state of sugarcane stalks in leaf -stripping process and separation of leaf impurity were analyzed. And the comparative experiments were conducted using the 4ZBQ - 9 type sugarcane leaf-stripping machine. The result showed when rotate speed of feeding and output roller was 250 r/min, and impurity rate after leaf-stripping reached 4.9%, the rotate speed using the way fed from root of the sugarcane stalk equaled twice that of the way fed from the top, meanwhile, there was obvious difference between the two feeding ways. Normally, it was reasonable to adopt the way fed from the top of the sugarcane stalk for small leaf-stripping machine, however, the way fed from root of the sugarcane stalk was the sole way for the leaf-stripping process of whole stalk sugarcane combined harvester.
