Abstract
An approach to LAN model creation with regard to problems of digital device technical diagnosis is proposed. The problems discussed include model analysis (fault simulation), test generation and defect search. Program implementation of models and procedures in the VHDL language and use of CAD active-HDL have confirmed the efficiency of the models.
