Abstract
Agile supply chain management (ASCM) transforms a business from an inward looking to a flexible out-looking business and has become a new competitive methodology. This paper aims at developing an open-focused system framework for ASCM with the introduced multi-agent technology, and the distribution requirement planning problem with limited supply capacity is discussed in order to implement the function of order agent. By means of mathematical deduction, an original model of distribution requirements planning can be translated into a linear programming problem and solved by a simplex procedure.
