Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

Based on the literature review, the explanatory indicators and demonstrative indicators for evaluating the competitiveness of Chinese firms participating in offshore service outsourcing had been put forward, which will be useful to evaluate, compare and improve Chinese firms´ competitiveness in offshore service outsourcing. However, this article is only the preliminary study in this field. The competitive evaluation indicators need to be refined and set with different coefficients by means of empirical studies, which will be fulfilled in the further research.
