Abstract :
Branches of Tetraploid Black Locust are the ideal resource to produce biomass briquette. But its special features lead to the low values and high energy consumption. In this paper, experimental researches were done on self-made chipping machine, and cutting force was determined that the maximum was 454.4N and the average was 264.34N. Higher qualified rate of chip can be reached while cutting gap was 1mm and cutting rotation speed was 600 rpm through experiments. Cutting power was 5.5 kW in the case.
