Abstract :
In the field of education the mission of the Department of Electronics Technology at Technical University of Budapest is to teach the knowledge of technology for students of electrical engineering and technical informatics. In accordance with the importance of technology, in the curricula of the branches of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics the disciplines related to microelectronics and technology have the weight which they carry in a modern industry and society. In the present paper the structure of the curricula, the main subjects related to manufacturing technology, and some characteristic examples for problem-oriented education are summarised
