Abstract :
An accurate modelling of MIC Lange coupler on microstrip sustrate has been developed. The model was implemented in a computer program named LANGECAD and the simulated results were compared with measured data of several devices. The agreement between measurements and simulations was very good. An optimization routine was then developed for the design of the coupler. Accurate design charts were thus obtained on alumina substrate (Al2O3).
