Abstract :
This paper deals with the development of the simulation models of Cheju-Haenam HVDC system and its dynamic performance study and verifies the control characteristics of the HVDC system. It discusses the model development requirement and criteria. It provides guidelines for developing large-scale simulation models for detailed electromagnetic studies and presents the results of the modeling project
