Abstract
Crops play the most important role in the natural scenery of landscape. The changing of crop shapes under different environmental factors is common scenery in the nature. Due to the complexity of the structure of crops and the varying properties of crops´ components, realistic simulation of crops´ motion becomes extremely a difficult task. As an effort in tackling such a problem, a new algorithm combining the environmental forces and parametric L-system, has been proposed and implemented in the paper. By using this algorithm, the changing of tomato shapes under different environmental factors is achieved. The key techniques in the algorithm designing and system implementation are introduced, and some typical effect pictures are given.
