Abstract :
Shafer´s belief function model, if considered as a logic system, is consistent with the Boolean logic system. However, there are two subclasses of belief under the belief function model. One is the Bayesian belief model, and the other is the Baconian belief model. Either one can also be considered as an extension of the Boolean logic system. The difference of these models is attributed to the tense of the logic system and the appropriate application of each model and its interpretation are explored
