Abstract :
This paper presents a high-linearity and low-noise down-conversion active mixer at 2.1-2.5 GHz for a receiver with low conversion gain. This proposed circuit has been designed and fabricated with a 0.35 μm SiGe BiCMOS process. The layout size is 0.34 × 0.3 mm2. Through simulation, the designed mixer achieves an input 1dB compress point of +10.8 dBm, an IIP3 of +19.4 dBm, a DSB noise figure of 8 dB and a conversion gain of 1.5 dB.
