Abstract :
On account of the need of real-time monitor and alarm in smart grid, a new approach to ultra-real time intelligent computation of short circuit current is proposed. The extrapolation of grid state is conducted by ultra-short term load forecasting of nodes, and a short circuit current identification method based on GRNN is adopted to conduct the scan the short circuit current level of buses in short period time about whole grid, by which the intelligent identification is implemented. The approach provides a new idea for the application of fast simulation modeling (FSM) in ultra-real time intelligent monitor, and the technical support to aid in decision (AID) making of intelligent dispatch. The feasibility and validity of this approach is verified by the test on IEEE30 system.
