Abstract

At Dresden University of Technology, within the Department of Electrical Engineering, the Electronics Technology Laboratory (ETL) was refounded in 1990. The ETL is a federation of two professorships, one of Process Technology of Electronics and one of Procedure Technology of Electronics. The staff is about 25 scientists and technicians over all. In this paper the three main topics of work of this lab are shown: the field of education and practical work with students; the field of further education and training with industrial engineers; and, last but not least, the field of research work
