Abstract
The assessment of the field gradient distribution is of a great importance in the reduction of the ship´s acoustic field since the early stages of the ship´s design. Once the high acoustic level areas of the ship are calculated, these areas can be rigidified in order to minimize the acoustic radiation. The authors conduct a theoretical analysis of radiated acoustic energy of the ship´s hull.
