Abstract :
In this paper, the use of simulation on inexpensive personal computers as a replacement for expensive specialised microprocessor analysis systems is discussed. Comparisons are made between traditional methods and that proposed in the areas of cost, flexibility and student acceptance. Software and hardware requirements are described
