Abstract :
Aiming at the problem of water shortage and soil salinization the paper studied the effect of irrigtion on water consumption and yield of cotton under drip irrigation in saline land thruogh test pit experiment, the results showed that water consumption of cotton increased with the increasment of irrigation, water use efficiency decreased with the increasment of irrigation, by setting the function relationship among irrigation, water consumption and yield it was found that a quadratic function relationship was showed between irrigation and yield, as well as between water consumption and yield, a linear relationship was showed between irrigation and water consumption, finally it was obtained when irrigation was 448.49mm ~ 461.19mm the highest yield of seed cotton was 5301.44 kg/hm2~5309.35 kg/hm2, which will provide a theoretical basis for the development and utilization of saline land and the solution of water crisis.
