Abstract
The paper describes work done at the University of Strathclyde, creating both educational documents within the World Wide Web, and further, for integrating pedagogically neutral simulations of engineering phenomena within the hypermedia environment which the World Wide Web provides. The facilities and tools for building the simulation applications, and for embedding them within the WWW are via Project INTERACT, and were built at the three sites involved in the project, University of Cambridge, Heriot Watt University, and University of Strathclyde
