Abstract :
Distributed Phased-Array Radar is a new radar system with multiple radars working together. This radar system mainly effects in weak targets precise detection and identification of wide range space. This paper briefly introduces the structure and working process of distributed phased-array radar, according to the targets localization requirement and working characteristic of distributed phased-array radar, Joint-Esprit localization algorithm is proposed. Using the high precision characteristic of Esprit spectrum estimation algorithm, targets localization is very precise. And search function is proposed in single target model and multi-targets model. Through the simulation, the Joint-Esprit target localization algorithm can locate the target accurately.
