Abstract :
The main purpose of this study was to develop a new reconstruction method to obtain a 3D separate model of the cochlea. Visualization technology was used to render the results. This study used Amira2.0 to reconstruct the structures of human cochlea. We extracted the contour of the region of cochlea in each single slice and added the processed data volumes into Amira2.0. We could reconstruct the 3D surface model and inner structures of the interest tissue. The result shows that this method could be used for the construction of the cochlea.
