Abstract
This paper study the deployment strategy based on data fusion and focus on two regular deployment patterns - equilateral triangle and square. Through theoretical analysis, this paper determines the location of least (α,β) -covered point in respective grid, and derives the constraint of side length of respective grid, which ensures that the grid is full (α,β) - covered in terms of different requirement of coverage quality and environmental parameters. Then, the deployment efficiency in both patterns with constraints of coverage and connectivity is analyzed. This paper also presents a Back-off based Grid Fusion Algorithm (BGFA), which can restrain unnecessary fusion frames from broadcasting and save energy. Numerical analysis and simulation results show that the deployment efficiency in equilateral triangular pattern is better than the efficiency in square pattern, and the impact of cooperation energy cost on entire energy cost in both patterns is very small.
