Abstract :
A dual-band antenna forWLAN applications is proposed. The antenna consists of a CPW-fed and a mender line with a branch. The 2.4GHz resonant mode is generated by the long branch, while the 5.6GHz is generated by the short one. The proposed antenna has compact size of 30mm ×35 mm. The simulated return losses of the antenna are 510MHz (2.28GHz–2.77GHz) and 1300MHz (5GHz–6.3GHz), which is suitable for WLAN applications. A dual-band antenna for WLAN applications is proposed.
