Abstract :
In road maintenance management, the most important thing is to reduce the unreasonable investment, saving maintenance costs, ensuring all the data of road conditions the accuracy, we must take advantage of computerized technology to make up for shortage of primary management system. Above all we analyze factual requirement about highway maintenance and management system, then we design the frame and flow chart of highway maintenance system based on GIS. The system consists of spatial database and attribute database, they are connected by dynamic segmentation. The system could process pavement condition evaluation and forecast by model. Expressway Maintenance Management System using GIS data as the management of all types of road line data link, which constitute the basis of a unified platform to provide a unified data services show and function. The system will make timely decision support for management department and make visibility management.
