  • Abstract
    The reliability of CCIR attenuation prediction methods is discussed in this paper. The higher accuracy of the R0.01% contour maps against the climatic zones map, and the application of the complete rain rate distribution against the use of one single intensity value, R0.01%, to calculate rain attenuation, are considered.
