Abstract :
This paper investigates the effects of diagonal dominance on the performance of passive fault tolerant servo systems. The previous work proposed using limiting devices to maintain the steady state performance, even in case of failure. The paper also pointed out systems are required to be row diagonal dominance. In some cases, systems become unstable even if the dominance requirements are satisfied. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to examine the relation between the performance and diagonal dominance precisely.
