Abstract :
In this paper a Trimaran hull form has been optimized to obtain low resistance hull. Hull portion consisting bow shape is taken into consideration for optimization. FLUENT software is used for calculating the total resistance of hull and genetic algorithm is used for the optimization. The results for bow shape optimization show the ability of proposed method for hull form optimization.
