Abstract :
For large amount of medical image data, the calculation for visualization is huge. It also demands the high computing ability for hardware. This paper studies the volume rending technology based on convex hull. It describes the work steps and details of this method used OpenGL. On the conclusion, this algorithm is suitable for the common video card. It can also attain the 18fps interactive volume rending effect.
