Abstract :
PACE is an open system designed around a message-based communication protocol (Spook) and includes user interface (Ghost) and database management systems. Spook offers new and powerful mechanisms to implement different message-based protocol vocabularies in a vendor-independent way for interprocess communication and file storage. Ghost is a window system independent message-based server that uses Spook. It offers a full graphics editing process rather than an input-parsing utility
