  • Abstract
In Xinjiang, rain is rare and evaporation is intense, salinization of soil is serious and widely distributed, so drip irrigation is used as the best choice for Agricultural. Soil salinity migration problems caused by long-term use of drip irrigation have cause experts´ attention. In this paper, selects one farm which used drip irrigation technology from 1996, using the technology of drying residue to determine soil´s salinity and monitoring land´s salinity during May and June in 1996, 1997, 2000, 2005, 2009 Five-year. Data of soil salt content show that: the application of saline drip irrigation technology in 14 years could decline the soil salinity in 100cm depth at 13.22%; soil salinity declining even more significantly in 0-40cm; decrease of soil salinity that very year using drip irrigation could reach 30.4%; farming for 14 years, soil salinity declines by 47.13%. At the same time, tracking survey shows that cultivation of seed cotton yield output presents continuous increasing trend, Farm output will stable at 3600kg/hm2 after 10 years. Research conclusions provide theoretical basis to the development and extension of drip irrigation under mulch.
