Abstract :
Lafarge Canada´s Richmond cement plant modernisation is discussed. The construction site is described as are the technical features of the plant. The power and control modernisation was a retrofit project and is discussed. A new kiln line was installed and its startup is briefly described. The initial performance of the modernised plant is outlined
