Abstract :
In generally partial coherent X-ray sources are employed in the clinical imaging. The image, gained in a certain distance from a partial coherent source, has both phase contrast and attenuation contrast. A theoretical intensity formula for X-ray phase-contrast imaging was deduced based on Fresnel-Kirchhoff diffraction theory which is applicable to the clinical application. The phase-contrast was analyzed and was compared with the experiment results, based on general formalism in this paper.
