Abstract
The authors propose a coherent demodulator for a fast-frequency-hopping (FFH)-spread-spectrum signal in a frequency selective fading channel, which has been considered impossible to realize, employing a method in which the received signal is noncoherently downconverted and phase-adjusted by an adaptive algorithm. Computer-simulation shows that the proposed system brings great improvement to bit-error-ratio performance
