Abstract
We have been developing a human interface which is drive by EMG signals. This interface is easy to use for healthy people, because many degrees of freedom are controlled simultaneously. Also we don´t need to use another device for control. We can use our body to control the object. This means that we don´t need to learn how to use controller. This capability is useful for all people. EMG signal reflects the muscle tension. We have been developing to estimate the joint torque, equilibrium point and joint stiffness from the EMG signals. In this paper, we propose the human interface using surface EMG signals for rehabilitation.
