Abstract :
In this paper, the temperature real-time monitoring system for High Voltage Switchgear (HVS) was introduced. Applying contact measuring method, the temperature of switch contacts were directly measured by digital temperature sensors. The power supply for data acquisition and processing was provided via the current transformer of bus bars in HVS, and the wireless transmission was solved through infrared wireless technology to guarantee the voltage isolation between the high and the low potential. At the same time, structure and functionality of the system were described as well as hardware and software design in the paper, and the experiment result was presented finally. The system enables real-time temperature measurement and display, temperature rise analysis and alarm. It was provided the system have low power dissipation, convenient installation, high accuracy and strong anti electromagnetic capability by experiment.
