Abstract :
The computer network fault diagnosis is the important information technology. This article introduces the network sniffer component program design method based on the promiscuous pattern. This way can solve some fault problem in the local area network through the analysis of the TCP/IP communication protocol. The sniffer program scheme and the data capture program module by Visual C++ can be showed in this paper.
