Abstract :
Solar energy is a kind of clean and rich renewable energy. It can save a lot of one-time energy to use solar energy. In drying agricultural product process, the products using solar drying are free from contamination, taste and color good, less damage for nutrition etc. In recent years, solar drying agricultural products have obtained a rapid development in China. The article discusses the basic situation of the solar drying in agricultural products research, and points out the solar drying advantages and disadvantages, and restricts reasons mainly for practical application. It analyses present situation and application prospect of equipment on the solar drying technology for agricultural products in China, points out the necessity to develop vigorously solar drying technology for agricultural products. It suggests that the government should support in the policy and increase use of the solar drying equipment.
