  • Abstract
    In this paper, wavelet based data fusion algorithm is presented. Multiple sensors are used to measure the same physical quantity at the same time. The measurement results are transformed by discrete wavelet transform. Multiple sensors measurement values at the different wavelet scale are fused. The true value of the physical quantity estimated is got through the inverse wavelet transform. From the modern mathematics of wavelet multi-scale analysis theory, according to the basic principle of Kalman filter estimation algorithm, we derive the wavelet domain data fusion estimation algorithm and apply the algorithm to MEMS gyroscope. Experiment shows that bias stability of MEMS gyroscope was improved by one order of magnitude. The results prove the superiority of the algorithm.
