Abstract :
In the paper the temperature field distribution in a urban distribution substation in Chongqing was calculated firstly. According to the parameters of the distribution substation and apparatuses in it, equivalent model was setup and method to calculate the boundary conditions for the temperature field is presented. Then factors influencing the distribution of temperature field in the distribution substation were investigated, influences on the temperature field distribution from different factors are presented, based on which suggestion for the design of new urban distribution substation is presented in the end.
