Abstract :
Thermal analysis for fighter aircraft fuel system is made in order to make better use of onboard fuel as cool source to cool down airborne equipments and the lubricating oil system, as well as to make the fuel temperature increase to a proper temperature before it enters the engines to make the fuel give play to the greatest benefit. The flow rate, pressure, temperature and heat loss of each node in the fluid network could be obtained through mathematical modeling of key components in the fluid network of aircraft fuel system, e. g. the fuel pressure pump, turbine-pump, and pipeline network. This makes it possible to predict the inlet temperature before entering into the heat changer and the engine in any circumstance. The research provides a basis for comprehensive scientific utilization of fuel and heat management of aircraft fuel system.
