Abstract :
The reliability of generating power system in running plan is not only relative to the reliability parameters of units but also affected by the dispatching strategy of reserve. The influence on the reliability of generating power system in running plan, which the dispatching strategy of spinning reserve has, is discussed in the paper. Three dispatching strategies of spinning reserve are presented. The reliability calculation model considering the dispatching strategy of spinning reserve is established and the corresponding algorithm is also given out. This reliability calculation model not only reflects the effects on the risk of generating power system which the impersonality factors (such as the reliability parameters of units and the load level) have, but also includes the decision-maker´s subjective consciousness (such as the dispatching strategy of spinning reserve). So the value of reliability index calculated by this model is more practical and more comprehensive. In the end, the case studies demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed model and algorithm.
