Abstract :
Forsythia suspense is a widely used Chinese traditional medicine. Forsythoside B and phillyrin are the major bioactive components in Forsythia suspense. In this study, macroporous resin method was used to separate forsythoside B and phillyrin. It indicated that compared with solvent extraction and absorption by alumina and other common separation method, macroporous resin method can separate forsythoside B and phillyrin effectively. Moreover, this study built a new method to determine forsythoside B and phillyrin simultaneously relied on Reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). The linearity studies, Stability, Precision, and reproducibility test satisfy the determination request.
