Abstract :
In this paper, a new termination circuit that consists of two common-mode chokes for a differential transmission line is proposed. It dramatically reduces common-mode noise while maintaining the transmission performance of a differential-mode signal. The noise-reduction effect of the circuit is explained here theoretically; it was also verified experimentally using an evaluation board.
