Abstract
In this paper, an efficient algorithm for 3D Reconstruction and Depth measurement using stereo images is presented. In this algorithm, key-points are extracted using SIFT feature point detection method. Fundamental matrix in the epipolar geometry is calculated and camera calibration is done. Next, rectification is done with the calibrated images. Finally, depth is measured using disparity map generation and 3D reconstruction is made.
