Abstract
In order to enable a new set of services that go beyond mobile TV, both the digital video broadcasting (DVB) project and the open mobile alliance (OMA) have developed two new frameworks designed for service and content protection. Both frameworks were basically designed to provide the same thing, and this is a standardised service provisioning platform. However, since these specifications stem from different parts of the communication world, there are also some differences to be noted.
