Abstract
This paper presents an analysis and control design of a permanent magnet synchronous generation (PMSG)-based wind generation system operating under unbalanced network conditions. A proportional-resonant current controller using stationary-frame is applied for current control of the system to achieve the control target of eliminating the negative sequence current input into the grid supply network and reducing the pulsations of both active and reactive power output from the overall system.
